Our Harmony Club

Boo! Hello everyone!

 

Just a reminder that we are having extra clubs on Monday, September 29, at St Sebastian’s and on Tuesday, September 30th, at Lord of Life. These are additional clubs so please remember to reserve and pay for your slots!

 

Our Halloween party is set for Monday, October 27th, costumes encouraged! This club is open to all members but is a paid event. Hope to see you there!

 

Please make your payments no later than the 5th of the month to ensure we have room for your loved one, lunch, and a craft. Our numbers are increasing so please reserve your spots early!

Club schedules are as follows: Coffee and Donuts 9:30 to 10:15. Craft starts at 10:15 to 11. Music Therapy or circle games are 11 to 12. Lunch at 12 and Entertainment is 1 to 2, then we play more games, then bingo until pick up by 3:30. For a complete experience we hope your loved one comes for all the activities. Each one is geared for memory care and social interaction as well as the mind/body connection.

 

For a bit of fun, we have begun wearing flannels on Thursdays, if your loved one would like to participate (not required), we are thinking of making Monday “hat day,” we are open to suggestions.

Let us have some fun! The weather is changing. Please include a sweater for your loved ones “go bag.” Coats must be hung up and not worn during the club for safety purposes.

 

Weather Note: Our Harmony Club closes when Racine Unified closes due to weather conditions. We will do our best to be listed on TMJ4 and FOX6, but it is safe to assume if the schools are closed, we are. All missed days will be rolled over.
